CDM Co-ordinator Tour
| The Tour | |
The tour has been designed to show the full functionality of the CDM Co-ordinator module when working in a project team. You may use none of the functions shown and still find it an invaluable tool for completing CDM 2007 documentation. |
| Step 1: Define the structure of the H&S Plan and File | |
The CDM 2007 Range is supplied with a number of templates which set up an indexing structure within the H&S Plan and File. These templates can be edited further to fully describe the current project. |
| Step 2: Export the structure to Designers and Contractors | |
Exporting the index to designers and contractors using the FREE Safe Designer and Safe Contractor software enables CDM Co-ordinators (and indeed Principal Contractors) to merge risk assessments, electronic files and contact details directly into the CDM 2007 documentation - thereby saving a considerable amount of time and leading to more accessible documentation. |
Step 3: Import Information from Designers and Contractors |
Although the CDM 2007 Range can allow the appending of manual documentation, the seamless integration between the modules makes importing data effortless. |
Step 4: Encourage in-house designers to do Risk Assessments |
The risk assessment process is the same throughout the CDM 2007 Range. |
Step 5: Pack and Go |
Once completed the CDM 2007 documentation and all appended files can be sent to the Principal Contractor or Client electronically. This electronic H&S File can be read using the FREE version of Safe Client. |
